About Mike’s Frozen Shoulder
My name is Mike Papageorge. I’ll be the person suffering during the rehab of this injury, and the guy writing this blog.
The short story is that after many years as a keeper (football/soccer) and then a few years doing triathlons (sprint to IronMan distance) and then a few years simply training in the gym, swimming and living with our new little son in the house, my left shoulder decided to take a break.
So, after a long run with a left shoulder I felt was a bit wonky, I had the pleasure of being diagnosed with Frozen Shoulder, aka adhesive capsulitis, on the 24th of August, 2009. Seeing that I am a web developer it felt right for me to blog about the injury, diagnosis, rehab etc. and that is pretty much what you will find here.
More to come as the road progresses!
